I have always been fascinated by helicopters as many young boys are.
I had never considered that I could actually take control of one however until
I was bought a half hour trial lesson for my birthday. My trial lesson was in a Hughes 269 Reg G-HFLA at Norwich Airport with Alan Mcleod on 17
April 2004.
Although I enjoyed the experience very much, I still didn't consider that I
would actually be able to get my licence until I sat back and reflected on the
experience. Soon I realised that if I really wanted it enough, then I could do
it. If I found I could not do it, then I didn't want it enough.
